I did drive the 997.2 C2S with manual, I have a GT3RS and the M3 all manuals.
Did not do a drag race with the C2S but drove it back to back with the M3. They are very close. My M3 has filter AA exhaust and ECU tuning. The M3 acceleration is very smooth, deceptive in a way. I thought at that time that the M3 is a hair faster than the c2s.
The GT3RS is much faster than the M3. I did drag race with it, well my wife was driving the M3, so the shifts may have been not so crisp but the GT3RS easily pulled 3-4 car length on the M3 from 40-100 mph
