I agree with skierman, garage that bad boy and buy a beater! If you must drive it in the winter make sure you spray detail it EVERY time you drive it. I would go down to 17" rims and tires, which are actually better performing if you drive in any ice/snow conditions. I put Nokian WR's on my car at 205/50/17, which made a ton of difference. Nokian are excellent tires made in Finland. If you can find Nokians buy them! I actually have a set with only 1K miles on them I am selling because I will definitely not drive my M3 in bad weaher. I got these tires/rims for a 2005 330i ZHP in Germany and lived in military housing, which meant I had to park it outside. In that case I'd recommend The Weathershield HD cover. It's outstanding and provides tons of protection against tough elements.
