Yeah, with it being so sporadic it does not sound software related, but I would start at the basics in any case. Your DCT brain may be optimized for the track now and that is why no issue there. These DCT's try to anticipate what you are going to do next,all the time, and it may think it is track time

I'll set up time with dealer. It's odd (but I'm happy that it's not more frequent) that it's what, one out of 12,000 shifts. You might think it would be software related but I'm not sure (no tunes of any kind on the vehicle).
