Not all 58 plates were 2009 models, so be aware. Also the surround of the starter button and central air vents was changed too. But who cares
I've had experience of both versions of the idrive / sat nav. Personally, it wouldn't bother me in the slightest if the car didn't have the newer spec version.
Once can put the saving towards tyres, fuel, insurance, servicing etc.
