I second the jammer suggestion. However, the V1 actually is very good at picking up laser. So much so that it can pick up reflections of the laser that is targeting other cars. That has saved me a few times.
Here's another suggestion -- pair the jammer with the V1 laser detection and mount the V1 high up on the windshield. The V1 will have better luck picking up laser from farther away, but will lose it's effectiveness as you get closer to the source. But by then the lower mounted jammer will take over and do its job. Works great for me.
However, the way that OP has installed his V1 (headrest, right?), it won't pick up any laser at all -- just radar. Unless the laser detecters were removed from the V1, mounted outside and wired back to the V1.
