The only dismal piece of news is that the car will likely have a June build, but no guarantees on getting it before the end of August. Apparently the train ride from Halifax to Calgary is a 10-12 day deal in and of itself, so that will take up quite a bit of time.

It would be my pleasure to drive it from Montréal to Calgary in two/three days and fly back home.
That should save you about a week.
