The jack pad tool has four Silicone plugs in the ends of the block which provide a friction fit for the jack pad tool in the vehicle jack point. This feature allows the tool to be suspended from the jack point while a floor jack is moved into position under the car.

Update August 7, 2013: Several cartons of the R50JPT bases were dropped in shipping and I have an abundance of blemished R50JPT tools with minor cosmetic damage. The tools are 100% functional. I am clearing these out at below cost for $20 including shipping to any destination in the USA. These blemished tools do not include the free lug bolt guide tool. I have at least 50 blems available.
