When you leave the hospital in Canada after treatment, you aren't given a bill to pay, we don't actually know how much it cost the government.

There's no such thing as "in Canada" when it come to healthcare since it's provincial jurisdiction. Not all regions are created equal. By the way, we Albertans pay health care premiums.
