It's gawn! I took a hard left sweeper and there was a scraping noise. When I checked, the bottom was hanging down by the rear of the component.
Of course, when I looked at the middle shield, the opportunity to do yet more DIY became apparent
I would like to report some horrendous fanboy understeer from the resulting loss of aerodynamic integrity, but there is no change.
