The 2010+ GT500 interiors are light years ahead of the 2008, and the reason you almost lost it in 1st is these cars don't hook up until 3rd, otherwise they would be a mid 11 sec. car vs. a low 12 sec. car. Also, did you check the 2011 GT500 times vs. the M3 times at VIR, the 2011 GT500 was several seconds faster than the M3.
