Didn't know that. I used the 3m tape, cleaned the paint with 3M adhesive remover. The diffuser would stick really good but the tape would start to unstick over the exhaust pipes and then just get worse. So the adhesive promoter will help with this? I think this is an issue for every diffuser.

I would just hate to look in my rear view mirror to see my $1000 diffuser tumbling along the asphalt behind me...about to be squashed by another car So I, personally, have no issue with screwing my diffuser to the bumper.
