No thanks on the commute but I am interested in your favorite podcasts to help pass the time when I do have a long drive.
Once a week or so I have to do 200-240 miles in a car (not mine) in a day. I catch up on the old episodes of my podcasts ("The Truth About Money", "Freakanomics", and the "The 2+2 Pokercast") during those days.
Back on topic, no doubt getting up to operating temps (oil temp ~210 deg F) helps get rid of fuel dilution and moisture issues for the oil. One of the problems of my E46M3 w/the C&R radiator and the then working C&R oil cooler (which has since cracked and been denied warranty by C&R after ~14k miles, but that's a different thread), is that it takes a lot to get the oil up to temp in the winter months. Have to rev it like I'm on track in the winter to get to normal oil temps (middle of the E46M3 gauge), otherwise it will sit at 1/3 of the range (on the low end).
