They are not voiding the warranty that easily anymore. Tires are more expensive than the M3, but the stock summer run flats are $550 each....not 2k for two. That's BS. Transmission will likely be fine. They are no longer voiding tranny warranties for using launch control. A few have had tranny issues in the past, esp on the 08s, but that has been fixed and is the rare exception. Most track their cars without any issues.
