I was scheduled for 4/17 production (week 16) and now have been pushed back to week 24.
MDCT, Extended Leather + 19s
Hugely irritating because originally my dealer sold me a car that was scheduled to arrive in the middle of april only to find out 3 days later that it was already earmarked for the dealer's wife. This would have been my 4th new BMW and I had similar production nightmares waiting for my e70 X5 around the launch last year. It just doesn't seem like BMW really cares much about customer communication or loyalty around new product launches.
Since that would delay delivery until late in the summer I'm thinking I will cancel and wait to see what happens with 09s and Porsche's rumored DCT for the 997.
