987s are awesome. They have a good amount of usable trunk space. One down side is that driving one will spoil you and almost any other car will feel slow (I don't mean acceleration) and disconnected in the handling department.
They also have an appetite for tires, they wear pretty evenly, but I replaced a set before 18,000 miles. To be fair I had 4 track days and an auto cross in there too.
