I powerwashed the wheels and front grills today with my Briggs & Stratton 2100psi powerwasher without incident. The stuff really stays on! (I held it about 1 - 1.5 feet away while spraying. Clean! No rubbing etc. Just drive away!
What about doing it one wheel at a time like you did.
