Matt: I hate to pester but I really want to know the answer to this. In the business to business professional world I work in engineers regularly publish and present - conferences, journals, classes, etc. I realize this is not quite the same situation as you are business to consumer more or perhaps business to distributor. Some believe a great deal of this in the B2B world is just "posturing". However, it is not really posturing in a negative way. It is done so their customers, perhaps other engineers or perhaps program managers, etc. are constantly reminded of the prowess and capabilities of the company, their engineering and their products.

In this spirit of openness, and due to the multiple people asking the same question, I think it behooves you to directly address my query above.
