I considered it, but was quickly reminded why it costs a lot less than the M3. The seats are AWFUL, and am only 155#. The cushion bolsters are extremely narrow at the end, and started bothering my left leg (when on the dead pedal) right off the bat. That alone killed the deal, but on top of that, the engine was thrashy (as mentioned), never liked the exhaust sound of a V6 (although this is the best by far), and the interior was noisy as hell.
If you have the funds, and you like the perfect combination of luxury and sportiness, nothing will compare to the M3. Just get a manual. Or if you want something new, buy a slightly used Cayman S for about the same coin. Good luck.
