It's my understanding BMW helped design the suspension for the new GTO, though the bean counters tried to ruin it with cheap bushings. But that's a cheap fix.

My 05 GTO, when it was factory stock, ran a best of 13.4 at 105 mph at Firebird Raceway in the summer heat. It's an automatic. It now runs in the 10's at 133 mph with more left in it. Nothing like spinning the tires at 100 mph to get your attention!

The reason I visit this board is I think the 335 turbo is one of the most significant cars BMW has produced in decades, besides the fact when I see one I can't help but stare. Since I have experience with twin turbos I try and share my limited knowledge when I can.
