This ... ^^^ and stay clear of roads with gravel or other types of debris on them like freshly resurfaced asphalt
Another suggestion would be to get the areas lined with clear bra like 3M ... I had the 3M bra on my former M3 on the front bumper and the front section of the hood to protect it from stone ships. The only draw back here is that there will be a slight difference in colour still hardly noticeable to the naked eye.
