Best of both worlds.....
I completely agree! I've driven both an M6 and an Cayman S at several local track events and I've lapped quicker on the Cayman S with a 6MT than in the M6 with SMG, and I'm not exactly the greatest driver or all that adept at hell-toe shifting in the Porsche. The Cayman S is one of the most balanced cars around the track, and extremely fun and easy to drive to boot. It's even more balanced than its ass-engined bigger brothers, including the GT3. The M6 just felt heavy, and more or less felt like my M5 lumbering through the slower corners. Like the M5, the M6 was built for autobahn triple digit cruising.
