The reality is thats maybe one of eight towns that you can do that in. Also they are probably living outside of their means and scrape by. I have seen it happen. I highly doubt they are living "quite comfortably". Consider rent or mortgage at $1500-$5000 a month plus a $200-$1500 a month M3 payment? Worst case scenario someone is paying $1500 a month for a 2013 M3 and $5000 a month for rent. Thats $6500 a month. Some folks don't make half that in a month in the state of California.

The majority of the rest of the United States you will not see this. I am over on the East Coast now and a modified E9X M3 is not common say opposed to Orange County or the Bay Area.

Everyones situation is different.

What I hate is the California property tax. lol Don't we all?
