I've been out more than $2,000 with one vendor and received a set of wheels (same vendor) which one had incurred a small bend and I paid out of pocket to fix it, you can check in the feedback section for more info so I do know how you feel and like I said it is just my own opinion. Always go with a proven vendor on the forum, even if it costs a little bit extra you know you will get the best service.
You can even find somebody local I'm sure. I just got coding done and the DME update + Euro DCT (GTS DCT is coming shortly for me) all for $165.
