No, it is not what you paid for your car that matters in this thread. It is what your particular OEM amp costs. And your particular OEM amp is not analog as your previous "3 BMW" were, this one is proprietary digital. So it costs more and therefore it cannot be replaced cheaply, is that simple.
A little search should have given you the idea of what you are dealing with -this is a quite common malfunction in here. But again, it seems to me that we are not dealing here with a lack of knowledge but just about
cheapness, isn't it?
