Not saying that the upgrades/options will ever fully be recovered via resale price, but hardly no one turns down a used car because it has too many factory options. But you could miss out on a (re)sale entirely, if it's missing some of the popular ones like Nav, or even ZCP.

I agree I am selling my Audi S5 and because it didn't have some differential option (not available when I bought it) a buyer backed off from buying it...
