When I had to deal with an accident, the auto body shop I deal with dealt with their insurance company and handled everything. Nobody can tell you that you have to bring it to a certain body shop. Ask other people from the regional forum you live in for a good body shop recommendation. Just make sure everything you agree to and want is in writing.
