No need for a dyno.
We tested this type of setup (straight through) while developing the E-Tronic and it made zero difference to power. Tests included measuring back pressure through the whole exhaust, AFR and ignition timing delta's.
It all remained very consistent.
So, definately do not worry about power losses.
Reducing the ID of the pipework would lead to a power loss.
Increasing the size give no gain.
