ICS will be a better comparison. However, what the 4S benches do show is that unless ICS comes out and absolutely throttles the 4S, it'll be really apparent that iOS5 is far more optimized (which I expect), and there's nothing an SGSII owner can do about the fact that the 4S's GPU is far superior (although again we're talking about a phone that is 6 months old versus a new one, wait for the Prime+ICS in a month for a good comparo). Although benches in general IMO are dumb, that is only because of how they're generally interpreted and presented. However, they're pretty useful in telling us how well optimized the OS is, and in this case show us that hardware specs are only important to a certain extent.

Also, who uses the default Android browser anyway?
