yay it was indeed the video card. i got pny 8800gt $110 and i couldn't be happier. just one problem though. this is my brother's comp i fixed so i ran WOW and CS and they both ran perfectly. he also plays maple story (which i think is gay
) and when it loads the screen goes black and i get this box saying:
Sync. Out Of Range
98.1 kHz 150Hz NP
i hope this isn't a big problem cause the other games ran fine...
the 98.1 kHz would bounce from 98.1 to 98.2 and back to 98.1, etc.
