One thing that takes time to learn is your turn in points and braking points. It's amazing how often you see people not using all of the track, in fact almost driving like they do on the road.
The whole objective is to straighten out the corner, thus making the line through straighter and allow you to carry more speed. Sounds simply but isn't.
In fairness to skierman64 his lines were smooth which is half the battle, unlike the guy in the Blue M3, aggressive turn ins and getting on the power to soon only heats the tyres up which was there for all to see at the 7:53 point.
