We have both, and love them for what they are.....great cars! I think that's the point here. For everyday driving, the 335d has so much more useable power, and it never feels like you doing 100mph. I drive 60-100 miles a day and it is the perfect car for that. The M is crazy fun when you want to do some spirited driving, or just wanna beat it down. I think the 335d is faster in day to day driving, but the M will reel it in in a hurry on the freeway. 90% of a car is the driver anyway.
