it's definetely possible to beat a base WRX in a 323, altho the mag racers wont say so. they have quite possibly the worst shifter/gearbox ever designed. it is so damn clunky and horrible, i've seen many people (even modded with ECU/exhaust) get high 14 sec 1/4 times at the strip with the WRX, when magazines have gotten sub 14 with the car.
i believe you. although with equal drivers the WRX still shoulda won.
