No, the cars have a different final drive ratio also. The DCT car will rev slightly lower in 7th vs the manual in 6th at the same speed. You have to multiply the two gear ratios together.
BTW: I am glad they did put a longer 7th in the car. No need for the car to be buzzy on the highway.

So 7th in the MDCT = 3.154, and 6th on the manual = 3.354
