The R888 is a different tire than the AD08r. You are comparing a street tire with a competition tire. The AD08r you can still drive in the rain but you shouldn't on the r888 especially if they are worn / shaved. That being said, you may never drive in the rain so that wouldn't affect you. Just pointing it out incase you didn't know. If you did, ignore please! Happy choosing!
