Akrapovic Slip-on is one of the quietest exhausts available for the E9X M3. In fact, the Akrapovic Evolution is quieter than a lot of the other cat back systems out there.
I think you may need to put your stock exhaust back on if you find the Akrapovic Slip-on too loud.......... There aren't many exhausts out there that are going to be quieter than the slip on, except maybe the M-Performance or the Milltek Sport.
