I have around 7300 miles on my E93 and have noticed that the brakes are definitely feeling worn (probably because I try to drive her like a coupe on the autobahn and instead I am driving a piggy vert in stop and go NY traffic). I am wondering what typical pad life has been for you all, and what the scheduled replacement is for them?

Also, could I purchase performance ceramic pads and then have the service center use them instead of the OEM ones they would put on (any recommendations by the way for pads?). Is it even worth it, meaning are the OEMs that good? Thanks
