Hey guys,
A guy pointed out a few months ago that it looked like I had a camera inside my rearview mirror. I figured it was the auto wipers or something but it didn't seem right. Well today I was at AutoCouture Motoring getting my performance wheel put on and it was pointed out again today. I looked at the other M3s there and none of them had this! The original owner (I'm 3rd) put about $50k of mods into the car and the second owner doesn't really know what to say about it. I don't believe it's laser cruise control as I thought that goes in the bumper? We took apart the mirror and it doesn't appear to lead to anything. There is also a green and red dot by the "lens" which looks it would light up maybe if recording? Maybe there is some attachment to it I am missing? It sure looks like a dope spot for a camera! Any help would be much appreciated. I JUST ordered a camera yesterday too!
