Nokian Hakka R's for me and they are by far the best snows I've ever had. Very aggressive compound (read: soft) so works great in the snow. I have no issues driving my car up to go skiing here in the winter. Their strength is also their downside - softness means far less dry grip which impacts acceleration, cornering and braking. Still, this is my only car so I chose the more aggressive tire.
