In a nutshell, everybody has been told "June production". If you got a week, I bet it was the dealer just trying to give you a date....as that is the first week in June, I think. Are you still status 037?
edit: I am ordering a sedan w/ DCT also...I saw an internal memo from BMW that simply stated that sedan DCT production would not begin until "June". There were no specific dates. This was a January 2008 memo that was re-distributed to dealers a couple week ago, to remind them.
However, it appears many peeps with DCT in the ROW have been moved up significantly in production, so hopefully, we will get ours into production sooner....no word from BMW, but I guess it is possible if the tranny supplies increase and/or the orders for coupes w/ DCT do not meet their projections...one can hope I guess.
