PLEASE STOP PICKING ON THE DOCS. Their job is hard enough and I think for the most part they deserve a break. They are not going to be reckless and drive like maniacs just for the hell of it. They witness first hand what can happen. If they are given a break even when they aren't necessarily headed to an emergency so what. I know a lot of cops out there who abuse the system themselves.
