P.s where does the dental floss come in? I will take a guess at, heat oem badge with a heat gun, then slide the dental floss behind the badge to remove it? Does the OEM badge have pins or just a flat fit against the boot lid?

Don't need the heat gun. Just use dental floss or fishing line & saw it back & forth behind the emblem. It comes of real easy. No pins or holes, just double sided tape.
