I'm curious as to how you can say you prefer the current M3 version when the M4 has not actually been released? The M4's details are speculation at this point and nobody has driven one... How can any one of us say whether it is better or worse than the current version?

I'm sure that there will be complaints about certain aspects of the M4 initially but I am willing to bet that it's going to be a fantastic car that out-performs the current model in every measure. Especially if BMW is successful in reducing the weight. The only think that will be difficult to improve upon is the fantastic sound of the current Gen V8 engine.

My long winded answer to your question is I don't know but Probably yes.
