Why would I address the Ford comment? At least the rest of your rant had something to do with the issue at hand and somewhat related political tangents... The Ford thing didn't have anything to do with anything. Was it supposed to be some sort of "Buy American" quip? I probably would buy a Ford if I was working on my citizenship, so I could have a good reliable cheap car and use the rest of my money to fund the clear and law-bound process of obtaining citizenship.
And the "Spirit of the Law" is what here? If you're hot, you get a free pass while everyone else has to go through the lawful process? If you're smart, you get a free pass? I don't get it. You're asking them to circumvent the law, not work within its boundaries. That is not the "Spirit of the Law".
I'm sorry, that's just not how this country works.
