Also would be curious how many miles they had on the system. I wonder if it just clears codes as they pop up or if it stops them from even popping up. If it just clears codes as they pop up it could leave you for a period of time after clearing code until emissions sensors come back up and show ready..... In that case I guess it's just chance whether a code had been cleared to close to checking the readiness of the sensors.
