A total of 4 wires are tapped for interaction. Here are earlier installed shots from our e92 M3 project:

Open glovebox to access fuse panel/CAN wiring:


Access panel removed exposing fuses/wiring harness:


Harness pulled for easier access, CANBUS wires are twisted pair in green & orange color:


remoteKEY installed - simple 4 wire tap. Green LED confirms proper install & CAN activity:


The alarm buzzer is routed into the engine bay though the firewall (existing grommet) for audible confirmation during arming.
