Ok cool, thanks SCCA. This is awesome info. I have a couple follow up questions.
Are there two covers, or does the top cover just unsnap, then slide forward towards the front of the car to remove? You say to unsnap the cover, then you talk about another cover that removes forward. This may be obvious once I look at it, but just thought I'd ask.
W.r.t the orange tach (RPM) wire.. the "spark plug wire" you refer to, is that the same as the "tach pick up"? I'm assuming this just a clamp that goes over my wire and inductively detects the RPM, or will we have to splice it to get metal-metal contact?
