I'm in a situation where I can't have a second car (job situation and parking garage limitations) and my e90 M3 does everything I need it to.
Transporting passengers, grocery shopping, track duty...list goes on.
The only downside obviously is the gas mileage, but that's mainly my fault because I have a lead foot in country where the police don't pull you over for speeding.
