Having driven all the current generation M3, 5, 6 extensively, and currently owning a CTS-V, my recommendation to the OP..keep the Caddy.
Is the M3 a lighter, more nimble and probably better handling car? Yes.
But the Caddy is no slouch either, capable of running sub 8 minutes at the Ring.
Based on the OPs responses and posts on how he drives his Caddy, is he going to have some sort of spiritual revelation by switching to the M3? Probably not.
I dare say that he may actually be disappointed.
Keep the CTS-V and wait for the next generation M3...
Thanks shchow! That's what I was hoping to hear! I was thinking to wait and see how the new m5 and m3's turn out power wise. I've always loved BMW's and can't wait to see the new F10 M5!
