I know you love your CSL and it probably has many things somewhat better than the new M, but "just as quick"??? it better be. lbs/hp using curb weights:
E92 M3: 3478/420 = 8.30 lb/hp
E46 M3 CSL: 3130/360 = 8.69 lb/hp
Plus an extra 400 rpm redline!
