Sooooo...got the pedal a few weeks ago and finally was in town long enough to install it.
I decided to leave it unfinished, on my E46 it wore off and I had this silver/black thing going on. So I skipped the paint this time.
Must say, customer service and responsiveness of the staff at Ultimate Pedals was phenomenal.

I'm very pleased with the added left side pedal width on the top, it fits my shoes perfectly and now I can roll on the gas while braking at the same time.
I used the same finish I had last time, frosted antislip with no inserts.
